Solid hardwood is one piece of wood all the way through. Engineered hardwood has a real wood top layer bonded to a plywood core, which makes it more stable when temperature and humidity change. Both look like real wood because they are. We'll recommend the right one for your rooms and subfloor during your estimate.
Often, yes. If your floors have scratches, dents, dull spots, or wax buildup but are still solid underneath, refinishing can make them look new again. If they're past saving, we can match or replace them with new hardwood.
